At Weekend Water Garden Tour

With a host of activities abounding in Hopkins County for this weekend, you'll not want to miss the Bright Star Garden Club's Water Garden Tour, that will be hosted by local gardeners throughout the area. The tours will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 10th, and again from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11th.

A complete listing of the homes on the tour are as follows:
Dave Wilhelm and Debbie Grider - Hwy. 19 N, 14 miles, turn right on Tira Hwy-1536, go 3 miles, turn right,
on CR-4575, go 1 mile, house on the right.
Paul West Home - 1839 Church Street (West Side).
Henry Keller - 619 Church Street (West Side).


Robert & Barbara Carpenter - 110 Jennifer Lane, from Hwy 19, right on Loop 301.
Thomas and Pat Sipowicz - 422 College Street.
Edward and Barbara Moore - 1609 College Street.


Bill and June Tuck - 1601 College Street.
Perry & Paula Altenbaumer - Take College St. to Crush Rd., left on CR-2310, 1mile, house in on the left,
Box #1081.
Pat & Lanell Gerald - Take I-30 Exit 127 (Best Western), stay on the service road 1 mile, you will see a
wooded hill and a pipe fence, with a gated entrance, turn in and follow driveway to the
left up to the house (This is before The Lodge).

Norman and Donna Colyer - 1808 Posey Ln. (across from Wal-Mart).
Guy and Sherry Shockley - 1004 Carter St., (between Radio Rd. and Whitworth St.).
Frank and Kay Gray - 878 South Davis St.

Ray Sanford - 211 Turtle Creek (Pleasant Grove Estates), Hwy 19 or Loop 301, left on FM-2285, Airport
Road, right on CR-4759, to Turtle Creek, over bridge, and turn left.
Johnny and Anita Stapleton - 135 Stonebriar Drive (off Hwy 11 West, last house on left before new addition.


Ricky and Jan Jetton - Hwy 154 South, on right just past Restlawn Cemetery, 4 miles from Wal-Mart.
James and Vickie Hathcoat - South on Fm-2297 (Arbala Rd.), 10 miles, right on CR-1185, just before the
Arbala Church & Community Center, one mile on the right.

Tickets for the tour are $5.00 each and can be purchased at any bank in Sulphur Springs, or at all of the homes, during the tour. Proceeds from the tour will be donated to Empty Stocking and Chrysalis House.
Twenty-two homes will be on the tour and sponsors ask that you adhere to Pond Tour Etiquette, as follows:
No restroom stops at the homes.
No glass containers on premises.
No small children, as some ponds may be deep.
No pets, please.
Please stay on paths and walkways.
Park friendly and avoid blocking driveways.
