"Power On With Jesus"
At Morning Chapel Baptist Church
by: Bobby McDonald
The theme for this week's Vacation Bible School at Morning Chapel Baptist Church is "Power On With Jesus," and Pastor Harold Nash was excited with the success of the attendance. "We've experienced some 150 youth involved in our outreach this week," exclaimed Nash. "With that many participants, we're making an impact in our community!"

Organizers of this year's Morning Chapel Baptist Church Vacation Bible School include, left to
right, Deacon Ronny Kelley, Pat Morgan, Tiffany Spigner, T.C. Abroms, and Pastor Harold Nash.
"We have some very dedicated teachers who have worked hard to make this a wonderful and educational experience for the youth attending our morning services," stated Deacon Ronny Kelley. "The teachers have worked extremely hard to make the word of God interesting and fun to learn."

Friday will be the last day of the week long services and will feature a fun day for all of the participants in this year's annual Vacation Bible School. "It's important that the children from K-12 learn about God's word, but we want them to have an enjoyable time, while they learn," stated Kelley. "And, Friday is devoted to fun and games, as well as plenty of spiritual applications."

Students file into the pews for Thursday morning's session at Morning Chapel Vacation Bible School.
