Team members include Kyle Kahee, Tyler Wilson, and Shelby Blezinger, serving on the Senior Livestock Judging Team. Then, Harley Wilburn, Kasey Blezinger, and Madison Ramirez are members of the Junior Livestock Judging Team.

Livestock Judging Teams are required to judge classes in three different species, swine, beef cattle, and sheep. Then, within each species judges are required to place both market and breeding classes, and to give oral and written reasons on their placings.

The Hopkins County Junior Livestock Judging Team placed 2nd in the Grayson County Contest and Madison Ramirez was 5th High Individual in the contest. While, the senior team placed high in the large contest, the failed to make the top places in the senior division.

Members of both teams will be competing at the District IV Livestock Judging Contest in Paris, on April 29, 2006, in hopes of gaining a trip to the State Contest, that is held annually in June, on the campus of Texas A&M University, in College Station.

The Hopkins County Livestock Judging teams are coached by 4-H Agent, Sotero Ramirez.
