"The Ghost And Mr. Chicken?" No, it's the Cumby High School entry in the UIL One Act Play Competition, entitled "Rest In Peace." The setting is a hospital room, where a patient enters the hospital for a physical and has some "unusual" results. The play was presented to the Cumby Student Body, on Thursday morning, in anticipation of their competing in the district competition on Friday, March 31st.

Justin O'Mara portrays a difficult patient, while nurse, Brittany Sellers, tries to apease him.

Audrey Hedges, left portrays a grieving wife, while she is consoled by her friend, played by Jessica Chrissman.
Chris Steward portrays a former lawyer, and O'Mara continues his patient role, as they "meet-up"
with a former accountant, in some rather unusual circustances.
The Cumby High School cast and crew garnered a bevy of awards and won the Zone competition, according to Director and Sponsor, Mrs. Anita Comer. Justin O'Mara gathered the "Best Male Actor" designation in the competition and Audrey Hedges and Jared Tremor were named to the All-Star Cast. Actors Brittany Sellers and Chris Steward were named Honorable-Mention All-Star Cast members.

and standing, Brandon Waters, Brittany Sellers, Audrey Hedges, Jerod Tremor, Nicole Burton, Jessica Chrissman,
and Michelle Gunter.

Receiving individual awards at Zone competition were: Michelle Gunter, Dani Baur, Brittany Sellers, Audrey Hedges,
Jared Tremor, Justin O'Mara, and Chris Steward.
Crew members, Dani Baur and Michelle Gunter received Technical Awards at the Zone competition, held at Grayson County Junior College.
