Production of "Who's Happy Now?"

Amidst screaming fans, limos, and a return "fit for a king," stars arrived at the Main Street Theater to promote the upcoming production of "Who's Happy Now?" The Community Player's production opens June 1-4, and has a second run week, of June 8-10th.


Sonny arrives at Main Street Theater among screaming fans, for the opening of "Who's Happy Now?"



The setting of the play, by Oliver Hailey, is a small East Texas town, where three periods in the life of Sonny, a hometown boy, are portrayed. Corey Connally plays the part of Sonny, at six years of age, sixteen, and twenty. Sonny is shown developing his musical and song writing talent, as his father disapproves of the pursuit.

 




Friends Welcome Sonny back home for the production of "Who's Happy Now?"



Mix into the drama, Corey's Mom, who secretly promotes Sonny's attributes, and Faye Precious, a regular at the bar, who has aspirations of her own, including being the mistress of Sonny's father.


The setting for the drama is a small East Texas bar, where cast gathers for a scene in "Who's Happy Now?"



The production is sure to entertain the theater lover and will leave the audience identifying with the small town life, of their native East Texas.

The production is directed by Kyle Cosby, and tickets are $8.00 each. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (903)885-0107. Due to language, the production is deemed suitable for adults.
