Celebrating Independence

For what was for many in Hopkins County, a four-day weekend, the July 4th Independence Holiday was celebrated in a variety of ways. Fireworks on the square, a trip to the lake for some fun in the sun, or a possibly a family reunion, were just some of the many activities available to residents.  Then, it was back to work on Wednesday morning, for thankfully a "short" work week and a chance to re-focus and recuperate from all of the weekend activities. Follow these Hopkins County residents on a delightful 4th of July holiday:

Water Skiing was on tap at the area lakes!

 

And, it was hot dogs and all the trimmings!

 

 

......every family needs a "grill master," don't they Charles Westbrook?

 

And, little Landri Lawrence was dressed in red, white, and blue,
for her first Independcence Day celebration!

 

A flag cake for dessert.....

 

And, a finale of FIREWORKS!!!!!!!

 

And, a remembrance of the great sacrifices of our freedom......
