League Street Church of Christ Youth Director, Chris Shelby, right, and his wife, Jill, invite everyone
to attend the Vacation Bible School being conducted at the church, this week, nightly at 6:30 p.m.

Pam and Randall Voss enroll their three daughters, Avery, Ashley, and Anna
in the League Street Church of Christ Vacation Bible School.

Adults at League Street Church of Christ were actively enrolling students in the week long Vacation
Bible School, and, yes, that's Bill Grant in the "attractive sombrero!" Does he know any Spanish?

Shouts of "Ole'" and "Viva" could be heard from the Fellowship Hall and classrooms at League Street Church of Christ, on Monday night, as the church's Vacation Bible School began for pre-school and elementary age children. Registration began at 6:00 p.m. and a long line of students were ready to begin the program that will be conducted each night this week at 6:30 p.m.
"Studies in making Jesus a part of your life, will be presented in a fun and energetic environment," stated Chris Shelby, Youth Director of the Church. "We want each child to leave with the knowledge that Jesus is suppose to be the most important part of their life!"

Teens in the Youth Department at League Street Church of Christ are serving as "crew leaders"
for the nightly Vacation Bible School.

Teens in the youth department at the church had worked for the past two weeks assembling materials to serve as "crew leaders" and will be serving as leaders in the school. "We've learned many skills and worked hard to be effective with our group," expressed Micah Walden, one of the crew leaders and an upcoming freshman at Harding University. "You always learn more than your students if you become familiar with all of the material!"

Fred Shelby dons his sombrero and makes friends with "the burro" at League
Street Church of Christ, as "Fiesta Vacation Bible School" gets underway!

Students will be participating in "Cactus Crafts," "Chadders's Desert Drive-In," that features a movie theater, "Grande Games," conducted on the front lawn, and "Maraca Munchies." The "Hot" Bible Adventures will be featured during the classroom portion of the Vacation Bible School.

Keith Kilmer, League Street Church of Christ minister, joined hands with many of the participants at
Monday night's Vacation Bible School Finale.

Each night will begin with "Sing and Play Ole'" and end with the "Fiesta Finale!"

Students will be accepted throughout the week, so if you miss one or more nights, you can enroll in the Christian based learning experience by calling the League Street Church of Christ Office, at (903)885-1531.
