| Mother's Culture Club
The Mother's Culture Club met on October 20, 2005, at Lou Nell's Dress Shop, at 6:30 p.m. The hostesses for the event were Gail Calhoun, Anne-Michelle Penson, Shannon Sherman, and Jennifer Smith. The members were treated to a light meal of sandwiches, cheese and crackers, fruit and dip, tortilla roll-ups, and other finger foods.
While the members ate, a brief meeting was conducted by President, Kristin Potts. She discussed the last minute details on the upcoming Bake Sale and food to be delivered to sick members. She also encourage all members to turn in ther dues.
Following the meeting, Lou Nell's owner, Carrie Crowson, held a fashion show for the members to view fall fashions available at the store. After the fashion show, members were encouraged to shop in the store. From whatever purchases that club members made, Carrie Crowson pledged to generously donate a portion to the Mother's Club, for sales throughout the month of October. Members and guest enjoyed an evening of shopping.

Mother's Culture Club The Mother's Culture Club met on October 6, 2005, at 6:30 p.m., in the home of Buffy Coleman, for their Fall Social. Hostesses for the event were Buffy Coleman, Shawna Murphy, Jenny Hornback, and Karen Jasmer. The members enjoyed an evening devoted to "flashing back to the 80's." Every member was encouraged to dress in the favorite 80's attire and bring a senior picture of themselves. They enjoyed the night of 80's music, karioke, and mingling.
Members were served submarine sandwiches, chips and dips, and desserts of cookies and brownies. Table favors were 80's candy that included Pop Rocks, Big League Chewing Gum, Jolly Ranchers, and Pixie Sticks. Tracey Reynolds won the Karioke Award and Buffy Coleman was awarded the prize for the best costume.
A brief meeting was conducted by Vice-President, Kimberly Williams. She discussed the club fundraiser that was quickly approaching and the club approved the United Way donation.
